The Venus Fly Trap Capsule from Space.
Students worked together to design a final sculpture. They broke into 2 groups and created models for their sculptures. One was a space sculpture and the other was a Venus Fly Trap. They presented their ideas to the other groups and found a way to combine the two project ideas.

The students learned how to make patterns and sew. They worked together to construct the whole sculpture.
The final sculpture was displayed at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in 2019. Now it is part of the Cherry Arts mobile art gallery and visits schools across the state.
